Since its inception in 1987, Pisalayan Beach Resort has been a labor of friendship for the Mr. Thomas Gasser and Gatchalian family. What began as a private sanctuary has grown into a place where families, friends, and travelers from all walks of life come together to unwind, reconnect with nature, and enjoy the breathtaking beauty of our coastline
Blessed Odorico's Cave
The Most Reverend Gabriele Giordano Caccia the apostolic nuncio of the Philippines visited Pisalayan. The Reverend tells the story of Blessed Odorico’s journey and having its shipwrecked in Pisalayan, Binabalian, Bolinao, Pangasinan during 1324 a 200 years earlier than the arrival of Magellan. Blessed Odorico have it’s thanks giving mass in the area together with the islands’ inhabitants, others says Blessed Odorico even baptized local inhabitants.
